Vivian received her first invitation to a friend’s birthday party. I had the pleasure of making crowns for the girls. Of course, the birthday girl got to wear a very detailed crown; which I will show you when her mother gets the pictures to me of her daughter wearing the “Queen” crown.
1.Swiss dot cardstock paper spray painted gold 2. Cut out desired shape of crown size 3. Then I stapled the back of crown, to hold it together with this staple 4. I added a rectangle piece of honeycomb netting on the back of the crown 5. Cream satin ribbon on the sides 6. Used glitter spray heartily all over the crown & ribbon ties {must have glitter!}
Such a humble crown, but nonetheless festive indeed!
{P.S. That was the first I had crafted in ages, who knew getting the glue gun out felt so good!}

The crown is adorable but it does not compare to the beautiful, chubby cheek precious girl that is wearing it. It would be hard to resist playing dress up with her – I’m sure everything is adorable.
I suppose I need to figure out how to use the glue gun in my closet.
She’s so beautiful! She looks just like you too!
Oh my what a little angel sitting with a gold crown……….
